Final Multaqa Zayed National Museum talk explores late Sheikh Zayed's strategy for country's development


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Multaqa Zayed National Museum series drew to a close on Wednesday with a talk at Manarat Al Saadiyat, which discussed the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's leadership that brought people together, turning his vision of unity in the UAE into a reality.

Led by Zaki Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor, Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Adnan Pachachi, Politician and Diplomat, the final talk, entitled: 'The Five Year Plan' was moderated by Jumaa Al Darmaki, Head of Museums and Collections, Zayed Centre for Studies and Research.

Salama Al Shamsi, Project Manager of Zayed National Museum, said, "Leading up to the eagerly anticipated opening of the Zayed National Museum, Multaqa Zayed National Museum fostered a profound dialogue between the museum and its public, providing insight into the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's legacy and vision for the UAE. Zayed National Museum will tell the story of the country's development through the life and achievements of the country's founder, where it will celebrate the deep Emirati culture and heritage for all audiences."

Bringing the narrative of the Zayed National Museum to life ahead of the museum's opening, the Multaqa Zayed National Museum series of talks took place across various locations including Manarat Al Saadiyat, Qasr Al Hosn and Al Ain Palace Museum, and reached a cross section of audiences throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The Zayed National Museum will celebrate the unification of the Emirates and their transformation into a modern nation under Sheikh Zayed, 1918€2004, the 'Father of the Nation,' within the context of the Middle East and the world. The museum will introduce its visitors to an unparalleled collection of art and artefacts from ancient and living cultures of the UAE and the wider Middle East.
