Royal decree summons parliament to meet June 1


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A Royal Decree was issued Tuesday summoning parliament to meet in an extraordinary session as of June 1 to pass some dozen draft laws, including legislation on decentralisation, municipalities and political parties.

Also, among the key proposed legislation is the amended Independent Elections Commission law, the standards and metrology and the integrity and anti-graft legislation, as well as the Lower House's rules of procedure and code of conduct drafts.
