(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Israeli bulldozers on Wednesday demolished a building under construction and a number of stores in the Wadi Qadoom neighborhood in Silwan town, south of Al Aqsa mosque, under the pretext that they had been built without a permit.
Head of the Silwan gathering Walid Abdel-Razek told Petra's reporter in Ramallah that the bulldozers, backed by Israeli soldiers and the Jerusalem municipality's staff, had surrounded the building before the demolition amid soaring tensions among the citizens of Silwan.
