(MENAFN) Sweden-based Ikea is set to expand in Bahrain next year by opening up its first place for businesses in the Kingdom; the store will be run by Ghassan Development Company, Arabian Business reported
Ikea is a Scandinavian chain that sells ready-to-assemble furniture, and housewares, in a warehouse-like space. Additionally, the new founded stores will be run the same company that runs Ikea branches in Saudi Arabia.
"As we continue our strategy for solid long-term growth that includes expansion in both existing and new markets, we are excited about opening a new Ikea store in Bahrain." A spokesman for Ikea said.
