(MENAFN) Etihad Airways and SITA has signed a baggage tracking services deal, through which the air transport info technology company will offer its services to the Airline, Gulf News reported.
Etihad Airways, the flag carrier and the second-largest airline of the United Arab Emirates, will make good use of SITA's "BagJourney", which employs data that moves from SITA's global messaging system to the airline through an app.
The information can be shared with Etihad crew and airport staff and will later be available to passengers on their smartphones. The value of the deal remains yet undisclosed.
