Kuwait Cabinet condemns attack in Egypt's Sinai


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Kuwaiti Cabinet vehemently condemned a recent armed attack that took place in North Sinai and left several people dead or injured, terming it as a "criminal act".

Earlier on Saturday, three Egyptian judges were killed and another one wounded in an attack by gunmen in Sinai Peninsula.

The three judges were travelling on a bus in the city of Al-Arish, Sinai, when it was attacked by gunmen.

"The cabinet condemns this criminal act and reaffirms Kuwait's firm rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations," Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said in a press statement following a routine cabinet meeting held at Kuwait International Airport under chairmanship of His Highness the Premier Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The cabinet offered condolence to Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi and Egyptian people over the victims of the attack, wishing everlasting security and stability in Egypt.
