Qatar Charity honours real estate firm for contributing to Taif project

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Charity (QC) has honoured Al Asmakh Real Estate Development for its contribution to the
Taif project.

Al Asmakh Real Estate ran an in-kind collection drive from April 15 to May 10, during which it collected 8 tonnes of clothing in addition to large quantities of furniture, electronic appliances, toys and sports equipment.

QC's director of in-kind donations, Amer al-Busairi, presented a certificate of appreciation to the management of Al Asmakh Real Estate, represented by general manager Fadi Barakeh.

The funds raised will go towards the Taif project, which aims to create 4,500 housing units, beginning with the Arab Gulf and Loloa complexes, the Musheireb and Sadd complexes, the Waab complex, as well as the Rayyan, Markhiya and Ain Khalid complexes, according to a statement.

"Qatar Charity is very pleased with this co-operation, which embodies the spirit of philanthropy and social responsibility within Qatari institutions and reflects positively on social harmony,"
al-Busairi said.

He noted that this is not the first such collaboration between QC and Al Asmakh. The two institutions have already co-operated in multiple areas and hope to continue and expand it across multiple fields.

Barakeh expressed pride in his company and staff, noting that Al Asmakh chose to co-operate with QC due to its reputation for charity work across the world.

He pointed out that all of Al Asmakh's residential complexes were at the disposal of QC for charitable purposes and hoped that the co-operation would continue and expand to include other areas.

He concluded by saying, "Regency Concierge will be honoured to accept any offer of charity co-operation with QC, praising the role of QC in developmental and charitable work."

The Taif Al Khair project has signed a number of agreements and partnerships within the country. After several key achievements and successes in the last few years, QC has increased its outlets for the project in order to spread the benefits, with new markets in Al Khor and Umm Said.
