Hot, dry weather forecast over next two days


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A sight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday creating dry and relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and hot in other parts of the Kingdom with southeasterly moderate winds.

According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will further rise on Tuesday becoming 6-7degrees above their seasonal average; therefore the weather will be dry and hot across much of the Kingdom with southeasterly moderate to brisk at times.

Temperatures will slightly drop on Wednesday, but the weather will remain relatively hot in the hilly areas and hot in other areas of the country.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the desert areas.

Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 20 degrees.
