Sudan inflation reaches 24.3 percent in April


(MENAFN) The Consumer Price Index (CPI) of the Sudanese economy increased to 24.3 percent in April from a former 23.2 percent the previous months, according to stats, the Peninsula reported.

The increase now is on a two-month sequence and is expected to increase furthermore, according to the Central Statistics Office which accumulated stats for the oil importing country.

However Sudan's inflation has generally been easing since the summer, when it was in the mid-forties.
