UAE- SAIF Zone participates in Airport Show 2015


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, SAIF Zone, displayed its services and facilities in the aviation sector at the Airport Show 2015 in Dubai.

Over 300 exhibitors from 40 countries participated in the three-day show which was held on a 12,000 square meter exhibition space at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, DICEC, last week.

"The event witnessed a strong industry engagement and it was a unique opportunity to meet and communicate directly with a multitude of international aviation companies," said Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, SAIF Zone, and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, HFZA.

"We met investors and aviation experts from different countries and held a series of discussions on the various aspects of aeronautic-related investments, expansion and construction. We also looked at the investment angles in the aviation industry and, in particular, we focused on airport development and modernisation,"he added.

Al Mazrouei noted that the aviation-related companies that have set up their establishments in SAIF Zone have been flourishing and some other major companies are planning to branch out to SAIF Zone.

"SAIF Zone is a cost-effective platform for international aviation companies to expand their operations into and they will benefit from the easy access and proximity to many countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa", he added.

Airport Show 2015 is one of the leading international events devoted exclusively to building and construction of airports, technology and related services.
