Saudi- SABB appoints new chief operating officer

(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: The Saudi British Bank (SABB) appointed Saad Abdulaziz Alkhalb as its chief operating officer with effect from May 1.
Alkhalb returned to SABB after a two-year secondment to the HSBC where he served as the chief operating officer of HSBC Oman.
He brings with him an extensive professional experience spanning more than 23 years in senior administrative positions which included various banking service functions at SABB HSBC and a number of other prominent Saudi banking institutions.
Alkhalb holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) graduating in 1992.
This successful experience of Alkhalb reflects SABB's policy for attracting high quality nationals and developing them to assume senior management positions.
SABB says it is well posed to bring in to SABB the best practices from HSBC by providing international experience to its staff members.
