Ooredoo unveils new Dawli international calling card offer

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo has launched a new Dawli International Calling Card offer, giving customers 2GB of free data for activating a Dawli QR20 card.

The offer comes due to "strong customer demand" after a recent promotion offering 100MB with the Dawli QR20 card ended, according to a statement.

The Dawli International Calling Card, which can be used to make calls to popular locations such as Nepal, Pakistan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, offers 45 international minutes for QR20, bringing the effective calling rates to below QR0.45 per minute.

With the new offer, all Hala customers who activate the Dawli card before June 14 will automatically receive 2GB of free mobile Internet as well as the international calling minutes.

The 2GB bonus data will be valid for the rest of the activation day, plus 24 hours. The international minutes will be valid for a month.

To make activating Dawli cards easy, Ooredoo offers activation via customers' mobile devices. Hala customers need to dial '*127* voucher number#' on their keypad to activate the minutes and data. They will receive an SMS confirming the extra data has been added.

Dawli International Cards can be purchased at any Ooredoo shop or authorised dealer. To activate the cards, customers need to scratch off the secret panel to reveal the voucher number or QR code and follow the instructions on the back of the card to redeem the international call minutes.
