(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Television and radio have won three awards at the 16th edition of the Arab Festival for Radio and Television which concluded yesterday night in Hammamet city in Tunisia.
Qatar Television won the first prize in the children's programmes competition for "Schools", and the second prize in the documentaries about the Palestinian Cause competition for "Borderless World".
Qatar Radio won the first prize in the Palestinian Cause Programmes competition for "Threat and Judaisation".
The 16th edition of the Arab Festival for Radio and Television was organised by Arabsat in co-operation with Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) the Tunisian radio and television corporations.
