Saudi Arabia Reports 12 Cases of Coronavirus in a Week

(MENAFN- QNA) Saudi Arabia reported 12 new cases of the Coronavirus over a week in Riyadh, Hafoof, Taef, Jeddah, and Qunfudhah.

Despite the small number of registered cases in the same period last year, there is a noticeable increase in the number of cases compared to last week, the Saudi Ministry of Health said in a weekly statement on its website Sunday.

The ministry confirmed its readiness to continue combating the disease through efforts exerted in cooperation with all sides, including people and health workers.

The ministry also noted that their command and control center is continuing to work around the clock to monitor and combat the disease in all facilities.

Since its inception in 2012, the virus killed 433 individuals out of total 999 cases in the country, while 552 cases completely recovered.
