King Salman awarded Medal of Arab Parliament


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh has praised Arab Parliament's decision to award the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the Medal of First Class in recognition of his leading, courageous and humanitarian positions towards Arab issues in the region in general and the issue of the brotherly people of Yemen in particular.

He said in a statement on this occasion that this award is a medal of gratitude and appreciation of the Arab people, represented by the Arab Parliament, in recognition of the King's keenness on the nation's pride and his dedication in its service and upgrading bonds of brotherhood between Arabs to safeguard the dignity and unite their ranks in the face of conspiracies targeting their entity and presence.

The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura added, 'This medal of the Arab Parliament representing the Arab countries is the first medal to be awarded to an Arab leader.
