Exchange of fire with no casualties in Fayoum
(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) A security patrol exchanged fire with unknown assailants Sunday in Fayoum, with no reported casualties on either side.
The gunmen shot at the patrol men in the early hours of the day in the outskirts of the city, state news agency MENA reported.
The city witnessed protests Saturday night, following the death sentences handed down to former president Mohamed Morsi and scores of Muslim Brotherhood members and leaders earlier that day.
