EU says way to stability in Afghanistan is long
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) EU High Representative Federica Mogherini Sunday confirmed that a member of the EU Police Mission in Afghanistan was among three killed in the Kabul attack earlier today.
"For the second time in a week, Kabul has come under a terrorist attack this morning; a number of civilians, including a member of the close protection team of the EU Police Mission in Afghanistan, have been killed," she said in a statement. She called on the Afghan Government to ensure that those responsible for the attack are brought to justice.
"The way to peace and stability in Afghanistan is long. It needs a strong committment from the Afghan leadership, unity of the Afghan people
