(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Abu Dhabi School of Management, ADSM, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and an educational institution dedicated to developing the UAE's future entrepreneurial leaders, welcomed its first cohort of MBA students during a graduation ceremony, held recently at the National Archives Auditorium in Abu Dhabi.
Present during the ceremony were Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Professor Abdullah Abonamah, President of ADSM, and Professor G. 'Anand' Anandalingam, Dean of Imperial College Business School who all delivered inspirational speeches to the assembly. A total of 76 students graduated under the programme.
Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi said, "The MBA programme is a vital link in ADSM's mission of grooming entrepreneurial managers who can lead their respective organisations to growth while encouraging more entrepreneurial ventures in the UAE".
Professor Abonamah said, "We take pride in our first cohort of MBA graduates who have proven that they have the necessary skills and competencies to become future corporate leaders and productive members of society. We congratulate our faculty and staff for their efforts and for providing a great learning environment for our students. We wish our graduates the very best as they meet the challenges of today's competitive business world head-on, armed with the unique skills that ADSM has provided them."
ADSM's MBA programme combines a holistic integration of traditional business disciplines with the school's unique approach to teaching the entrepreneurial thought process. It comprises a Pre-MBA Programme, a Common Body of Knowledge, Signature Learning Experiences, Summer Assignments, Study Abroad Programmes and Elective Courses.
