Kuwait's ambassador satisfied at status of cultural ties with S. Arabia


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The State of Kuwait's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, has praised the high level of the cultural and scientific relations between Kuwait and the Kingdom.

Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah expressed satisfaction at status of the relations at these levels, in a statement he made during a reception held by the embassy, late on Friday, honoring Kuwaiti doctors who earned high degrees in the Saudi board and fellowship in various medical specializations.

He affirmed Kuwait's keenness on bolstering academic, cultural and scientific cooperation with the Kingdom, "in shadow of concern by the two countries' sagacious leaderships and their constant quest to enhance further the distinctive ties in various sectors for service of common interests." He also lauded substantial facilities offered by the Kingdom for Kuwaiti students studying at various local universities and academies.

Meanwhile, Dr. Misfer Al-Misfer, the chief of the cultural bureau at the Kuwaiti embassy, noted the office efforts to aid the students.

At end of the gathering, the ambassador distributed awards to the Kuwaiti graduates.
