(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser being welcomed on arrival in Seoul on a four-day visit to South Korea. Sheikha Moza, chairperson of Education Above All Foundation (EAA), is in South Korea to take part in the sixth Asian Leadership Conference and the World Education Forum 2015.
She will call upon governments to focus resources, expertise and political will to achieve quality primary education for the 58mn out-of-school-children during the World Education Forum. She will also stress the importance of fulfilling aid commitments for education.
Representatives from 195 Unesco member states, UN agencies and NGOs will gather at the forum which will be critical to guiding the world's future education agenda.
In a keynote speech at the sixth Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul, Sheikha Moza will urge global senior business executives, political leaders and scholars to partner and close the funding gap for quality primary education and to highlight the pragmatic approach that Educate A Child, a global programme of EAA, employs in order to reach the world's most marginalised children.
