Egypt's economy to record 3 percent GDP in H2 2014/15

(MENAFN) The Egyptian economy is forecast to record a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 3 percent in the second half of the 2014\2015 financial year, Reuters reported.

The GDP of the first half of the fiscal year stood at 5.6 percent in comparison. The decrease is attributable to the economic and political turmoil that the country is suffering from.

The average GDP growth for the whole fiscal year will be 4 percent, according to the Minister of Finance.
