Qatar, Sri Lanka mutual trade hits USD114.77m in 2014


(MENAFN) Qatari and Sri Lankan bilateral trade reached USD114.77 million in 2014, with both parties still looking for way to expand and improve the two-way economic co-op, The Peninsula reported.

Among the two countries' most recent collaboration efforts are the accords signed over economic, trade and technical cooperation in 2012 in Colombo, in addition to Doha's signing over promoting mutual investments.

Presently, the Qatari Minister of Economy and Commerce and the Sri Lankan Minister of Highways and Investment Promotion are holding meetings and discussion in order to promote the economic relations.
