(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation in Canada, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop research and scientific cooperation and encourage industrial innovation.
The deal also aims to support joint efforts in the field of research and launch initiatives to stimulate scientific and research cooperation and bridge the gap between research institutions and the business sector in various fields.
The MoU was signed by Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hani Dmour and on behalf of the Canadian Ministry by Minister Reza Moridi.
The Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation is a government ministry of the Province of Ontario. Founded in 2005, the ministry became part of the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation in 2011.
