Saudi Arabia reports five new Coronavirus cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi Health ministry reported five new cases of the Coronavirus this week in Al-Riyadh, Al-Hafoof, Taef, Najran, and Bgaig.

The ministry expressed, in a statement on its website, its readiness to continue combating the disease despite the low number of registered cases, stressing importance on the cooperation of people and health workers to combat the disease.

The ministry added that there are 552 cases which completely recovered, with a 52.9 percent rate of the total registered cases.

The ministry noted that their command and control center is continuing to work around the clock to monitor and combat the disease in all facilities.

Since its inception in 2012, the virus killed 431 individuals out of total 996 cases in the country, while 552 cases completely recovered.
