(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, toured today the 9th Fujairah Career Fair 2015, accompanied by Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority.
Organised by the Fujairah Government Human Resources Department, 120 government agencies and semi-government, and private sector firms are taking part in the fair.
The Ruler toured the pavilions of the fair, where he was briefed about the employment mechanisms and job opportunities provided during the show. He praised the efforts of organisers to host such a national event, which provides jobs to the job seekers. He cited the initiative of the Dubai Police General Headquarters to employ 'within 50 minutes' those interested in joining the police.
Sheikh Hamad was also accompanied by Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Court, Mohammed Khalifa Al Zayoudi, Director of Human Resources Department, other senior officials and media.
The fair is expected to provide 500 various jobs, in addition to the jobs provided by the UAE Armed Forces.
