Dubai's Arabtec posts USD76.2m loss in Q1

(MENAFN) Arabtec Construction PJSC, Dubai's biggest construction company, posted a loss of about USD76.2 million in the first quarter of the year, thus missing analysts' forecasts, Reuters reported.

The largest construction firm in the Persian Gulf by market value said that losses are attributed to equity holders in the parent firm; their losses are compared to USD37.55million profit in the same period 2014.

Estimates made by Global Investment House showed that Arabtec will make a profit of USD25.87 million in the first quarter 2015; Arabtec, however, failed to deliver on the expectations.
