JB Hi-FI (ASX:JBH) up 2.1% to $20.90 Wesfarmers (ASX:WES) rose 1.5% to $44.15 andWoolworths (ASX:WOW) is up 2.7% to $28.50.

Aziana (ASX:AZK) climbed 18.2% to $0.26 with more than 34.8 million shares traded after its Spiking Neuron Adaptive Processor technology cleanly out-performed an opposing neural technology in a stimulated car race.

This is a key milestone in the application and commercialisation of the potentially ground-breaking technology.

It also marks the first in a series of post-acquisition milestones and the company has accordingly amended its documentation to recognise the accomplishment.

BrainChip’s artificial neural learning technology has potential applications across many areas including smartphones robotics prostheses and driverless drones.

Millennium Minerals (ASX:MOY) is up 14.3% to $0.032 while Alkane Resources (ASX:ALK) rose 12.5% to $0.315.
