GCC Health Ministers to hold its 79th meeting in Geneva


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Executive Authority of the GCC Health Ministers is set to hold its 79th meeting in Geneva, to develop cooperation in the health sector between GCC states, and discuss the prevention of non-communicable diseases, health indicators, labour expatriates, and the electronic interface between GCC information centres.

During the meeting, which will be held next Wednesday on the sidelines the General Assembly of the World Health Organisation, attendees will also discuss the strengthening of health information, developing systems, as well the 2014 budget, the proposed budget for 2016-2018, and Yemen's share of the budget.

Prof. Tawfik bin Ahmed Khoja, Director-General of the Executive Board of the GCC Health Ministers Council, said that the ministers will review implemented resolutions, approved recommendations and topics on the General Assembly of the World Health Organisation's agenda.
