(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Several top hotels from Oman have been named leading hospitality destinations at the Middle East edition of the 22nd World Travel Awards 2015 (WTA) recently held in Dubai.
Hilton Salalah Resort Al Bustan Palace a Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Six Senses Zighy Bay were named the sultanate's leading hospitality destinations at WTA often dubbed as 'The Oscars of the Travel Industry'. Winners were announced during a glittering ceremony with hundreds of industry leaders in attendance.
'It was a pleasure and a privilege for WTA to recognise the leading airlines hotels and tour operators from across the Middle East' Graham Cooke president WTA was quoted in a release as saying.
Hilton Salalah Resort was declared as leading hotel Millennium Executive Apartments Muscat named as leading hotel residences while the presidential suite at Al Bustan Palace hotel was declared as leading hotel suite. Six Senses Zighy Bay received three honours - one for being Oman's leading luxury hotel villa second for being the leading resort and third as the leading spa resort.
