(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Continuing the success of its launch at the Yalla MINI roadshow last year, the MINI 5-Door Hatch has made another appearance in Qatar.
The newly launched model has been used in typical MINI fashion with a new fun and intuitive display called Your MINI Home to showcase the new MINI connected features in a relaxed environment, according to a statement.
Alfardan Automobiles displayed the MINI 5-Door Hatch at Ezdan Mall in Doha during the weekend, bringing MINI fans closer to the British brand in a lounge area.
The new and unique concept enabled customers to engage with MINI's world of comfort with MINI Connected, an innovative spectrum of in-car infotainment, communication and online functions, the statement adds. Visitors were also able to understand how the new levels of comfort, safety and intuitive control could transform their MINI experience.
Ihab Allam, general manager of Alfardan Automobiles, said: "MINI has enjoyed unprecedented growth and a large following in Qatar. #YourMINIHome is a great concept and one that has been a huge success in Doha, providing a great platform for visitors to come and enjoy the world of MINI in a fun and interactive way and displaying all the technologies each MINI has to offer. The MINI 5-door Hatch and MINI 3-door Hatch was the perfect model to display all the exciting features to visitors at the mall."
The #YourMINIHome lounge activation saw hundreds of visitors engaging with MINI and its range of MINI Connected features that deliver new levels of connectivity, including Web Radio, Twitter and News, Dynamic Music and more.
The lounge also included the MINI John Cooper Works body kit accessories as well as a variety of MINI lifestyle items.
MINI has enjoyed a 6% sales growth in the first three months of 2015 compared to the same period in 2014. Both the MINI 3-Door Hatch and MINI 5-Door Hatch claimed the top spots for MINI sales.
