(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, on Monday attended a ceremony held by the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) to mark its 12th anniversary.
H.H. Sheikh Saif stressed that MoI's achievements and excellence are attributed to the wise directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the efforts being made by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates to develop and manage the performance of the ministry to achieve the highest internationally-recognised standards.
During the ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Saif received a copy of a booklet on strategy from Major General Nasser Lakhreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
MoI's Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development was launched in 2003 along with a project for overall development as part of Sheikh Saif's vision for promoting the culture of development at all police sectors.
