UAE Parliamentary Division partakes in Arab Parliament committee meeting
(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council (FNC) has participated in a meeting of the Arab Parliament's subordinate committee on promoting human rights and following up relating issues in the Arab Region.
During the meeting, participants discussed a mechanism for the committee and agreed to discuss human rights issues in the Arab Region. This includes learning about Arab legislation on human rights and conducting visits to Arab countries.
The committee adopted a proposal by Musabbah Balajeed Al Ketbi, member of the UAE's Parliamentary Division, to study Arab legislation on human rights and related issues such as refugees, captives and missing persons and discuss each issue seperately.
