Qatar's Advisory Council holds meeting


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Advisory Council yesterday held its weekly regular meeting under the chairmanship of HE the Speaker Mohammed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. The Council discussed amending some provisions of law No. 34 for 2006 related to communication.

Meanwhile, the Advisory Council's Services and Public Utilities Committee met to study a draft law regulating registration of births and deaths.

The Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee also held a meeting and examined a proposal to amend some of the provisions of law No. 34 for 2006 related regulating communications.

lAdvisory Council Controller Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Sulaiti who is also the rapporteur of the Council's Internal and External Affairs Committee yesterday met with Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Joint Foreign Affairs and Trade Committee of the Irish Parliament Pat Breen. They discussed relations between the two countries and means of developing them.
