(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Omanisation rate within the insurance sector increased by one per cent year-on-year to 65 per cent at the end of 2014.
A report issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) on market indicators pointed out that the number of employees in the insurance sector stood at 2376 of which 1556 were Omanis.
National insurance companies employed 61 per cent of the total Omani employees in 2014 while foreign insurance companies employed 19 per cent.
