Eurogroup hails Greece 'progress', says more effort needed

(MENAFN- AFP) Eurozone finance ministers on Monday hailed the progress made by Greece in its marathon bailout negotiations with its EU-IMF creditors, but urged Athens to speed up work to reach a deal.

"We welcomed the progress that has been achieved so far... At the same time, we acknowledged that more time and effort are needed to bridge the gaps on the remaining open issues," they said in a statement after meeting in Brussels.
