Jordanian economic delegation to visit Bulgaria Wednesday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A Jordanian delegation representing various trade and industrial sectors will start a visit to Bulgaria on Wednesday to discuss means to boost trade and investment ties between the two countries.

During the visit, which is organized by the Jordan-Europe Business Association (JEBA) and the Amman Chamber of Commerce, the delegation will hold talks with a number of Bulgarian ministers and officials on means to forge closer economic, trade and investment ties between Jordan and the east European nation.

The Jordanian-Bulgarian Business Forum will also be held during the visit that will be followed by bilateral meetings between businessmen from both countries.

JEBA President Haydar Murad stressed the importance of enhancing relations with Bulgarian in the trade and economic and tourism fields and set up joint investment projects.

He said that trade exchange between the two countries is still low as the Kingdom's imports fro Bulgarian stood at JD15 million last year while exports amounted to JD39 million.
