China lends Belarus 7 billion dollars

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) China has agreed to lend Belarus about 7 billion dollars with credit lines set to open this month, dpa cited Belarusian Economy Minister Uladzimir Zinouski as saying Monday.

About 3 billion dollars will be in so-called soft financing with a
relatively low interest rate and about 4 billion dollars will be a
commercial credit line to Belarusian banks for financing business
projects, the minister said in comments carried by Belarusian state
media.

Zinouski also said China would grant 800 million yuan (about 130
million dollars) to Belarus over the next three years to be used
primarily for humanitarian projects.
