Future Fibre Technologies awarded new perimeter security contract

ASX newcomer Future Fibre Technologies (ASX:FFT) has been awarded a new perimeter security contract worth $938000 for the provision of services at a major Queensland LNG facility.

This brings the total value of Queensland LNG security contracts to $2.1 million over three years.

FFT is committed to the ongoing development of sophisticated fibre optic sensing technologies and expects FY2015 revenue to be in line with its Prospectus forecast of $17.7 million an increase of 34.5% over FY2014.

Shares in the company commenced trading today on the Australian Securities Exchange following an Initial Public Offering of 30 million shares priced at $0.70 each to raise $21 million for growth capital.

It is currently trading at $0.85.
