(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Indian man allegedly stabbed to death his Sri Lankan girlfriend for failure to pay her KD 500 debt. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to Mahboula after receiving information on the incident. Initial investigations revealed the suspect stabbed the victim thrice because she did not pay her debt. The deceased was taken to Forensics while the suspect was arrested and referred to the concerned security department, along with the knife he used for stabbing the victim, for the necessary legal action.
7,633 expats arrested: Securitymen arrested 7,633 expatriates including those who violated the Residency Law, hawkers and liquor traders. The officers installed 244 checkpoints last week leading to the abovementioned arrests. All those arrested were referred to different police stations and they will be deported upon completion of the necessary procedures. Sources confirmed the security campaigns will continue to track down criminals and ensure strict compliance with the laws.
