Over 25000 illegals detained in Madinah

(MENAFN- Arab News) Police arrested 25227 illegal residents in the Madinah region during the past six months. They were arrested during the government's inspection campaign to nab illegal workers.
The police said that the raids were carried out with the coordination with all relevant government agencies.
The arrested workers were among those who have breached residency permit regulations and others who have violated the labor law regulations of the Kingdom. Breach of labor regulations include working for employers not mentioned in the iqama workers who have overstayed their pilgrimage visas and workers who are wanted by the authorities for various crimes.
