JAKARTA May 8 2015—Energy conservation is assessed as important factor so that Indonesia can save the energy.
To smoothen and ease Indonesia in saving the energy by implementing energy conservation it needs at least 1500 energy managers who can manage construction building and factory.
“Now we have less than 100 personnel therefore I ask training for many energy managers certification; this is responsibility of Directorate General of EBTKE in the future” said Minister of Energy and Mineral resource Sudirman said as cited from the official website of the ministry Friday (5/8/2015).
In addition to formed human resource the qualified energy manager as many as possible it also needs to campaign energy conservation massively to success the government program.
“We have had the law there has been energy acts but there is no enforcement” said him.
Besides there is still another important responsibility namely change the national mixed energy drastically.
“Let’s say the target in 2025 is to have 25% renewable content in national mixed energy” said Sudirman.
To reach the target of 25% according to him it needs revolution on execution because the new renewable energy has been considered as alternative energy.
“We have to change the mindset we can no longer mention alternative energy; it has been the main energy. Alternative means we consider it just when we have time” said Sudirman. Read more..
