PNM Targets IDR57.8 Trillion Lending By 2019

JAKARTA May 8 2015–PT Permodalan Nasional Madani targets to channel micro small and medium loan up to IDR57.8 trillion until 2019 in order to boost state equity participation that will be accepted around IDR1 trillion this year.

PNM Executive Vice President Arief Mulyadi said the company is now waiting for government regulation (PP) related to state capital participation (PMN) disbursement in order to actualize the target.

"From the addition of IDR1 trillion we will leverage to achieve the figure to 1.05 million micro entrepreneurs until 2019” he said recently.

Moreover the additional capital is expected to expand the company’s network to 1200 units from currently 715 units.

PNM’s lending as per December 2014 reached IDR12.8 trillion since five years ago with paid-in capital of IDR300 billion from the government.

This year he targets new lending of micro business to add IDR3.2 trillion without assuming the addition of PMN. The company’s assets reached IDR5 trillion.

Moreover President Director of PNM Parman Nataatmadja said the company is currently exploring the possibility to strengthen its human resources of micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as an effort to standardize the MSMEs particularly in the Asean region.

“We are now talking with a training institution in Thailand because we also want Indonesian products to be in accordance with the existing standards there.” Read more..
