Israel plans to build 900 units in Jerusalem
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Israel is moving forward with a plan to build 900 new settlement housing units in Jerusalem, said the Israeli Radio on Thursday.
The Jerusalem Local Planning and Building Committee approved 900 construction permits for homes in northeastern neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo in Jerusalem, the radio added.
East Jerusalem is considered to have many Palestinians and Israel is trying to turn it into Jewish majority, which is rejected by the Palestinian leadership at many international forums.
