Sharjah, China to boost trade relations


(MENAFN) Through a visit by Chinese group of representatives to Sharjah, the two parties are set to find means in order to boost bilateral trade and economic relationships, Gulf News reported.

The Chinese government is presently targeting specific emirates to improve the financial and economic relations with the second-best economy in the Arab world.

The most recent initiative taken by the two parties is the 'One Belt One Road' initiative, through which the creation of trade routes through Central Asia and other parts is going to generate an economic output of USD16.42 trillion.

"We attach great importance to bilateral ties with China and in view of the recent developments we are looking to play a major role in further strengthening our cooperation," an official said.
