When Saudi deputy crown prince rushed to meet ex teacher


(MENAFN- Arab News) Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made his way through a crowd of people pledging their allegiance at the royal court in Riyadh on Wednesday to pay tribute to a former teacher.
Abdul Majeed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi the former high school principal of Al-Riyadh Schools where Prince Mohammed studied said he was both pleased and surprised when the prince recognized him and took time to have a chat.
'He went out of his way to express his gratitude for the role played by each of his teachers in his education' a reaction he described as 'not unusual' for someone who is so loved and shown such tremendous service to the nation.
Al-Ghamdi described the scene as 'emotional and exhilarating at the same time.' He said people of all ages from across the country came to pay allegiance to the country's leaders which is 'proof' that Saudis are united in supporting the government.
Al-Ghamdi said Prince Mohammed was an exceptional student who 'excelled in everything helped and cooperated with others loved charity and good work and was always dedicated and sincere.'
Prince Mohammed graduated from Al-Riyadh Schools with top marks and was ranked among the school's top 10 achievers.
