Kuwait- Plan To Hire 1956 Census Bedoun Men In Police Force


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ministry of Interior is planning to hire bedoun men, who are included in the 1956 census, sons of martyrs and sons of Kuwaiti women married to bedoun men, into the police, security sources say, says Al-Seyassah. They revealed that ministry will soon admit the first batch of the candidates, provided they are not involved in any security-related issues.

Meanwhile, Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant Sulaiman Al-Fahad has urged all sectors of the ministry to support the Kuwait Municipality in curbing the phenomenon of trade cheating especially rotten foodstuff, reports Al- Anba daily.

He sent a circular to all sectors of the Ministry of Interior, in which he stated, "Due to the seriousness of the crimes of trade cheating particularly with the selling of rotten foodstuff in the markets and its danger to social and health security, we request you to fully support the Kuwait Municipality in their inspection tours".
