(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) A 200-million-euro (224.7-million-dollar) debt
repayment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be made
Wednesday as scheduled, dpa quoted Greek Deputy Finance Minister Dimitris Mardas
as telling the Mega television broadcaster.
However, he cautioned that pulling together another 756-million-euro
payment due Tuesday would be more difficult.
Such a move would be another attempt by the cash-strapped nation to
pull together sufficient funds to operate, amid fears that it could
soon go bankrupt.
