Brazil exports to Arab states hit USD1b in March


(MENAFN) The Brazilian exportations to the MENA region reached a total of USD1.036 billion in March, according to the Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Emirate News Agency reported.

The sum is attributed to the prosperous economic ties that the South American country has developed the region. The statistics was assembled by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.

March's trade increase represented 1.03 percent when compared to the corresponding month last year. Likewise the total export volume reached 3.8 million tons, marking 27.7 percent increase year-on-year.

"The revenue and volume of trade in March 2015 demonstrate Brazil's strengthening commercial relations with Arab countries." The Secretary General and CEO of Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce said.
