Abu Dhabi launches USD408.48m fluorides complex


(MENAFN) The Emirate of Abu Dhabi launched its USD408.48 million Gulf Fluor's fluorides complex in the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD) through an inauguration held by the Chief of the Emirate, Emirate News Agency reported.

The new complex is set over a plot of 300,000 square meters and will enjoy an annual productive capacity of 140,000 tons of Sulphuric acid, 54,000 tons of hydrogen fluoride (HF) and 60,000 tons of aluminum fluoride (AlF3).

The plant was originally built to generate environment-friendly products and quench the requirements of the general policy of the Emirate's Economic Vision 2030, Gulf Fluor's CEO said.
