UAE non-oil trade hits USD291.38b in 2014


(MENAFN) The non-oil trade sector if the United Arab Emirates recorded a total of USD291.38 billion in 2014, marking a slight 1 percent limp year-on-year, Kuwait News Agency reported.

The data are only provisionary, released by the Federal Customs Authority (FCA). However, it showed that the direct trades for the UAE accumulated USD189.6 billion in 2014.

Exports reached USD36 billion and re-exports amounted to USD66.3 billion, marking a growth of about 5 percent when compared to the previous year, according to the data.
